About Thomas D. Stavros

My specialty is in melding and divesting enterprise Fortune 500 global networks, both on-prem and Cloud. I have re-engineered L3's network and merged it into Harris', and spearheaded carrier transitions for CSC, Delphi Automotive and Newmont Mining. Recently for L3Harris I designed and engineered networking solutions for IaaS Azure and AWS cloud, and built a global SDWAN network. All ancillary work performed such as documentation, diagrams, network policies and training. Besides certifications from Juniper Network's Internet Specialist (JNCIS), Cisco's CCNP and CCDP, and Checkpoint's Security Expert (CCSE), I have extensive experience with firewalls, load balancers, VPNs, proxies, and general data center networking. Unusual for a network engineer, I have sales, marketing, and finance experience from previous business roles and training, placing me in an interesting intersection between networking and business. I also embody excellent research skills and a talent for troubleshooting, while testimonials state that I am easy to work with. In short, I love creating order, transforming chaos and inefficiency into elegant designs; parachute me into a network situation and I will prevail.
