About Thomas Dummer

I am currently a Senior Mechanical Engineering Technology student at the University of Dayton, set to graduate in December 2024. While taking classes full time, I also work at the IT center as a Senior Technical Support Analyst on the Management Team. I have also participated in the percussion ensemble group, as well as the club ultimate frisbee team.I have had many different work experiences including, working on an assembly line that manufactures and paints parts for cars, customer service and warehouse positions at both Lowe's Home Improvement and Haworth, respectively, as well as working in a climbing gym. My most recent Co-Op experience was working as a Project Manager/Superintendent at Neyer. I gained lots of hands on experience in commercial construction, and was in contact with engineers daily, via Requests For Information.I have always been driven to work, lead, and accomplish goals. Before I was old enough to work for a company, I mowed lawns in my neighborhood offering weekly and vacation services. In highschool I enjoyed leadership roles including, being a section leader of the drumline, as well as a captain of the track and field team. I am always looking to become a more well rounded person and employee as I search for new job and life experiences. As I complete my senior year at the University of Dayton, I hope to gain hands-on experience in mechanical engineering technology by pursuing an internship with a company that matches my interest in the field.Feel free to reach out to me at t.dummer02@gmail.com
