  Within Claire House Children's Hospice, I am an all-rounder within the finance office, playing a supportive role in all key functions. This encompasses overseeing and executing month-end processes, bank reconciliations, and balance sheet reconciliations on time with accurate financial reporting. My other responsibilities extend to accounts payable and accounts receivable, where managing transactions in these areas is done to keep the operations running smoothly. I also provide general finance queries support, enabling the team and other departments through the provision of information and solutions in finance. The role contributes directly to the mission of the hospice through ensuring financial stability and underpinning the critical care and support provided to children and their families.
