I managed a full cycle recruiting desk specialized in direct placement of Software, DevOps, Quality Assurance and other various engineering roles. I built and maintained client relationships through cold call and email campaigns in order to negotiate contracts, and make sure both client and candidate were closed on an offer. I used our proprietary system along with LinkedIn Recruiter to source the best talent available making sure they matched all job requirements, pre-screened candidates, scheduled all interviews and assisted candidates through the on-boarding process.

My responsibilities as a Corporate Account Executive were to prospect into Fortune 500 companies in the Southeastern US region to generate pipeline for Enterprise AEs. I used prospecting tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, SalesLoft and interpersonal skills to build relationships and qualify opportunities in both spending and non-spending account to identify expansion and net new opportunities. During this time I completed in house certifications to better learn the New Relic platform and how it would benefit our customers.

As a Loan Representative at Lending Club, the largest peer-to-peer lending company, it is my responsibility to manage a pipeline of 60+ incoming calls a day to assist potential borrowers in completing an application to qualify for a personal unsecured loan. Through the qualification process I determine the wants and needs of the individual borrowers to maximize issuance through educating them on all of their options with Lending Club that can accomplish their financial needs. While completing this process I have adhere to role specific compliance rules and regulations such as CIP procedures, TCPA, and quality assurance.

As an Account Executive at EAT24, one of the largest online ordering services, I was responsible for managing a pipeline of restaurants through the full sales process. I delivered consultative sales pitchs about the value of online ordering through making 80+ outbound calls a day and achieve a monthly quota of 40+ accounts. Starting with prospecting the leads, I made introductory calls to asses a restaurants goals and qualify the business in order to complete the sales transaction with the decision maker.

As a Lift While You Lead Mentor I was in charge of coaching a group of six high school Juniors and Seniors in a women's empowerment and social improvement class. My responsibilities included advising these students on problem solving techniques for these social issues and exposing them to resources they did not know were available or how to properly utilize. In addition, I provided support and encouragement for these personal and social issues to let the students know they were cared for and their opinions were valuable. Furthermore, I followed up with these students throughout the semester to check the effectiveness of these new implemented techniques and continues support and reassurance. I believe my biggest contribution to this group was a presentation to the class about Drug and Alcohol awareness and being able to have kids only about 5 years younger then myself tell me they were truly impacted and learned something positive. That feeling of gratification is something like no other I have ever experienced.

Alpha Kappa Psi is recognized as the premier developer of principled business leaders and I had the honor of being elected to managing a Pledge class of 22 people in exemplifying the core values of the organization in an 8 week process. In this time I managed various projects including three fundraising events surpassing our initial goal set, two professional workshops focused on resume building and networking, and two brotherhood socials.During this time I was able to develop my leadership skills by learning my strengths and weaknesses of managing large groups and various ongoing events. I constantly worked on improving in any area I felt I was not proficient, and in the end was rewarded with membership and the accolade of most successful pledging fundraiser to date. Once being accepted into the organization I was elected as Fundraising Committee Chair and responsible for leading a team of eight people to generate money for fraternity events and our annual retreat. While hosting fundraisers I developed relationships throughout the community to publicize awareness of Alpha Kappa Psi and the University of California, Merced. Additionally, on our small campus I innovated methods of sales to to create an identity that our consumer base could recognize and brought back the very successful pledging fundraiser of Dippin Dots as an annual chapter fundraiser. Besides making monetary gains I strived to create events that would positively contribute to our culture and offer our chapter value to grow upon in the future.

My responsibilities as a Recreation Attendant at UC Merced's Gallo Recreation Center are to greet patrons in a friendly and warm manner as they enter and sign them in through our computer system. I guide new members through the sign-up process, and also answer all facilities related questions about group exercise classes and personal training. Furthermore, I sell UC Merced Gear located in our merchandise section and manage our social media account to inform followers of upcoming events. Along with my front desk duties I am also responsible for maintaining the health and safety of our weight-room which includes me being First Aid, AED, and CPR certified.

As a SurePrep Tutor I gave one-on-one assistance to children in grades Kindergarten through 8th in the subjects of English and Math. Working with a large population of English language learners I developed personalized lesson plans for each child to generate interest and give them educational tools that they could apply on their own. Furthermore, I generated discussion question to assist in reading comprehension and literacy.
