My role as Scrum Master was within the Versio Agile Release Train working with the "Playout" teams. My goals were to coach and act as a servant leader to 3 teams (between 15-20 developers and engineers) as they began embracing the Scaled Agile Framework at the organizational level while practicing Scrum and Kanban at the team level.• Partnered with program Agile Coaches and our Release Train Engineer to measure and incrementally increase team agile maturity based on the organization standards and organize projects within JIRA as per expectations.• Continued collaboration with teams under the Versio Agile Release Train to deliver exciting features, manage cross team dependencies, and delight industry leading broadcasters to generate revenues > US$20 million.• Worked closely with the product management team to develop and refine processes to accurately identify production support issues. Saw a reduction of customer issue backlog by 35% and measured improvement in cycle time by 40%.• Lead workshops during the initial adoption of SAFe to provide training sessions to help support those in achieving their certifications as well. We ran mock tests, lunch and learns, and of those in attendance all had achieved their SAFe Practitioner (SP) and / or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) certifications.

My role as Scrum Master was within the Group Benefits department which focused on the "Highly Critical" billing management system ManuConnect. My goals were to coach and provide servant leadership to multiple teams (between 25-30 engineers) on their transition to agile development utilizing Scrum and Kanban. The focus of these teams were feature enhancements, DevOps, and Automated Testing.• Partnered with program Agile Coaches and Agile center of excellence to measure and incrementally increase development team agile maturity based on the organization standards and organize projects within JIRA as per expectations. • Identified the risks posed by technical debt impacting admin system upgrades and organized discussions with engineering and program leadership to include debt reduction as part of our road-map. As a result we were able to migrate our source control, implement continuous integration pipelines through Jenkins, and upgrade technical currency within forecasts to enable the upgrade project. • Identified impediments to sprint capacity, of recurring manual smoke testing post deployments, and organized discussions between quality engineering and product ownership to include automated smoke testing scripts in product backlog. The scripts increased the capacity available within a sprint by 15% and reduced costs by $24,000 to the program for minimal investment.

The CreditPath Lending Platform is a loan and lease origination platform that enables financial institutions to optimize their processes across the lending life cycle. My goals were to organize the product road map, groom and prioritize the product backlog, and share our vision with stakeholders to entice clients on legacy application versions to upgrade and support ongoing implementations. • Successfully delivered on 2 major quarterly releases focusing on enhancements to core functionality while organizing 6 minor releases focusing on maintenance to ongoing projects. This resulted in 2 legacy clients choosing to upgrade and keep up to date with the product release path resulting in $1M+ upgrade projects and recurring yearly licensing revenue. • Engaged directly with clients to obtain feedback regarding features delivered as part of minimum viable product. The feedback was reviewed and, based on business value, included on product road map as further incentive for clients to maintain on latest product versions. • Organization of feature initiatives in order to provide independence and promote self-organization of off-shore teammates.
