As Studio Manager I play a crucial role in the day-to-day operations and management of Spotify's cutting-edge podcast production facility. I oversee all aspects of studio functionality, ensuring that our creators, producers and production teams have the resources and support they need to produce high-quality content. Responsibilities, include overseeing the studios busy schedule, maintaining equipment, coordinating with various teams, and ensuring a seamless workflow. To this date, I have overseen the recording of over 2000 podcasts, hosted 100s of high profile guests the likes of Bill Gates, Arnold Schwarzenegger and 3 former UK Prime Ministers and co-led the www.spotifystudios.com website project.Key Responsibilities:Studio Operations Management:• Oversee the daily operations of the podcast studio, ensuring all equipment and facilities are in optimal working condition.• Develop and implement studio policies and procedures to maintain a professional and efficient environment.• Manage studio schedules, coordinating bookings and usage to maximise studio availability and productivity.Equipment and Technology:• Ensure all recording equipment is properly maintained, calibrated, and up to date.• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with technical support teams for timely resolution.• Stay informed about the latest audio production technologies and recommend upgrades or new acquisitions as needed.Team Coordination:• Collaborate with podcast producers, audio engineers, and other stakeholders to understand and meet their production needs.• Facilitate clear communication between studio teams and other departments within Spotify.Client and Talent Relations:• Serve as the primary point of contact for podcasters and talent using the studio, ensuring a positive experience.• Manage client bookings and provide exceptional customer service to all studio users.
