Extensive appellate experience having successfully handled numerous appeals before the Supreme Judicial Court of Massachusetts, the Massachusetts Appeals Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the First Circuit, and the Supreme Court of Rhode Island. Litigation experience includes class actions, commercial disputes, misuse of trade secrets claims, non-competition cases and complex arbitrations. Also representing insureds, insurers, self-insureds, captive insurers and risk retention groups in coverage litigation, declaratory judgment, bad faith and Chapter 93A actions involving property and casualty, accident and health, E&O and D&O policies and extensive experience drafting and updating insurance policy language and providing coverage opinions and claims advice.
