Business Development Lead Manager
Current• Responsible for building strong relationships within EMEA. Empowering experts and professionals with premium market intelligence & advisory resources across the global energy value chain• Analyze the energy market in EMEA to understand where potential opportunities are• Proactively hunt for new business opportunities, using channels such as LinkedIn & RocketReach• Generate successful leads and conduct meetings with companies such as Stattnett, Statkraft, AXA, EDF, Huawei, Iberdrola, AFRY, MAN Energy, ArcelorMittal, Kongsberg Maritime, SLB, Credit Suisse, Deutsche Bank, SNAM, & many others, leading to deals totaling $6 million and counting• Strategically think of ways for the EMEA commercial team to improve its performance• Reactively engage with opportunities that connect with us via our marketing efforts• Manage all client information via our Sugar CRM system, becoming an expert the rest of the team utilizes for training and advice• Represent the company at external conferences and other corporate events, centered on topics such as renewables, gas, shipping, and batteries
