In 2014 GN Netcom’s turnover was 2,87BDKK with an EBITA margin of 18,1 %.Reporting to the CEO my responsibilities include global R&D, Supply Chain, procurement, the quality and service organizations counting in total app. 400 employees of the app. 950 employees in GN Netcom. Half of my staff is situated in Ballerup, DK, half is in China (Xiamen, Shenzhen, Hong Kong).Key Achievements:· Restructuring the entire operations, R&D and processes to a more lean and transparent setup leading to higher efficiency and predictability in product development – plus a much improved portfolio overview· Established a “Director of Innovation” position and worked out procedures for innovation, mega trend analysis and management of innovation in product development· Improved product quality to a level where return rates are best (lowest) in the industry · Initiated new strategy for R&D which led to a 50% efficiency increase in 2 years measured on number of product introductions· Strategic review on the whole operations setup helped reduce cost by two digit MUSD without compromising KPIs

Oticon is part of the William Demant group of companies also known as William Demant Holding or WDH in the Danish OMX20 index.After an organisational change in Oticon in the summer of 2008 I was offered a newly defined position as VP R&D with reference to the CEO. The overall challenge was to redefine the R&D organisation in order to gain shorter time to market, better product roadmap and consistency.Key Achievements:· Restructured the R&D organisation to reduce complexity and increase transparency and efficiency leading to a 30% increase in output· Defined and executed an education programme for the R&D project managers· Defined a new R&D strategy for Oticon – part of the Oticon 2015 strategy paper· Major restructuring of the R&D organisation to keep OPEX down, improve thecollaboration across sites (Denmark, Poland, Switzerland) and start working according to“product line engineering” principles – this is implemented and in function now· Defined and started an education programme for the directors reporting to me· On time delivery of high quality and high complexity products for sale while reducingOPEX

Situated in Nærum, Denmark, Brüel & Kjær is part of the Spectris Group (listed in the UK). Brüel and Kjær has app. 1000 employees worldwide.Reporting to the CEO I had 13 managers reporting directly to me in the Products & Technology organization with a total of 150 employees in Nærum, Denmark. My responsibilities covered innovation (research), product definition and development, market intelligence and product marketing. Key Achievements:· Implemented a new development model. Secured development project timelines – a major new measurement platform was released 3 months ahead of the original plan· Accelerated the On-Line marketing efforts leading to lower costs and higher responserates· Defined the strategy for growth in India - and started implementing it· Restructured the R&D and Marketing organisations to better reflect the marketsituation and needs· Redefined the product roadmap process (professionalised the product portfoliomanagement)· Started up BKSV branding activities and programs to attract new employees

Responsibilities:· Reporting to the CEO I was responsible for technology strategy as well as technology development and early product development in an organisation counting app. 120 people · This function was mainly targeting Oticon development projects, but it also had activities across the whole WDH organisation in the areas of coordination between business units internationally, resource allocation on projects, formulation of plans and strategies, responsibility for innovation and IP etc. · The technology and product development group encompassed 74 people. The group was very diverse, people had different technical and/or commercial backgrounds. A part of this group dealt with business development1990 - 2000: Development Engineer, Project Leader, Competence ManagerResponsibilities:· Development engineer in the areas of digital signal processing and digital IC design· Architect behind and main contributor to the DigiFocus hearing aid (the World’s first digital hearing aid)· Following my role as Development Engineer I was offered a role as Project Leader and later on Competence Manager for the DSP-group in Oticon
