I am responsible for the operation and optimization of the network infrastructure. I am the primary escalation point for any issues or concerns from my team. I provide technical mentoring to our junior level team members on the operations teams and other teams with network resources. I will ensure that those team members have the appropriate escalation resources to grow within their position. I manage the time and work of 8 subordinates. I work on dedicated operational projects and also sit on other projects as a SME within the company. I review and renew all network vendor support contracts each year. I do a thorough review of all network assets each year to ensure all production assets are tied back to a fully qualified domain name for CMDB. I oversee ticket assignments in servicenow and escalate or reassign tickets to the proper team for closure.

I will be managing a regional team of network engineering specialists that will carry out the necessary changes to help facilitate and build the foundation for this project to grow on today and in the future.

I was hired as a Senior Network Engineer for SMS. I was responsible for network changes within 2 primary enclaves and to ensure those changes complied with DISA directives. I was also responsible for helping the System Administrators when needed or assisting them on change requests from the network side. I managed their dual Layer 3 6509 switch with FWSM, Layer 3 4506 switch, SSL VPN and SA devices in accordance to DISA standards and directives.

Provides tier three troubleshooting for Windows 2003 server and active directory systems. Help manage Avaya VoIP system while performing adds, drops and voicemail maintenance. Works with globally stationed engineers to provide client connectivity with IPSec and GRE tunnels as well as direct T-1 connections. Performed complete center build outs for three additional Metropolitan Area Network connected sites. Supervises subcontractors and vendors to deliver infrastructure on time and within budget. I was to ensure that this site was compliant in all the company standards, troubleshoot equipment issues, configuration errors and provide assistance to our Server Admin. I was hired as the America's Network\​System Administrator for Zodiac Aerospace in the new America's division. Directly responsible for all sites within the America's realm. I served as a backup for my counterpart in France when he went on vacation\​holidays. My responsibilities also included my own equipment as well as dedicated project equipment. This includes active directory, DNS, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, vmware, cabling, backup. I designed a full data center based off of virtualization and leveraged training I received from Dell on vmware to do it. I also helped out from time to time with our subsidiary that we owned but borrowed space from for our data center when they needed help or somebody senior to look at an issue.
