With over 30 years experience, I have done everything from starting the IT organization in a small startup, to building the Enterprise Architecture organization at GM, a Fortune 5 company. I have worked in all major industries and have worked with technologies from mainframes to LISP machines. My main interests are in solving tough problems, whether they be technological, personnel, or process.I am recognized as a worldwide expert on Enterprise Architecture, having written articles in publications about it, spoken at conferences about it, and having consulted and helped more than a dozen companies with setting up or maturing their Enterprise Architecture function. I also regularly consult for forums like GLG, Third Bridge, NewtonX, and others on Enterprise Architecture related topics. I also am a member of the Chief Architect Network (CAN) and Chief Architect Forum (CAF). Specialties: I specialize in advanced or new technologies. During my career I have been on the leading edge of imaging, workflow, mobile computing, optical character recognition, artificial intelligence, as well as solving the Traveling Salesman Problem (patent awarded).I live in Atlanta, Georgia, but will relocate for the right opportunity.
