At the end of 2016, I accepted a full-time teaching position at The International School of Tianjin, China where my contract would commence half way through the Australian school year. As a result, I chose to accept a 6-month contract to work at St. Jude's, Scoresby before my departure to China. At St. Jude's I had the opportunity to work collaboratively with a larger team. The school emphasised inquiry based learning, student agency and collaboration. Leadership - I supported the implementation and planning of a targeted spelling and reading intervention program based on data to support at-risk students.
