As a Senior Process Design Engineer at Renishaw, I specialize in developing and optimizing automation software, with a strong focus on LabVIEW, C#, and MATLAB. My career began on a graduate scheme at Delphi Technologies/BorgWarner, where I honed my skills in continuous improvement, factory monitoring software, and the development and commissioning of new production equipment.With a background in the heavy-duty automotive industry and now working in manufacturing technologies, I bring a diverse set of skills to the table, including continuous improvement, software development, database management, SQL, mechanical design, and data analytics.Beyond my core responsibilities, I am actively involved in STEM outreach, mental health first aiding/awareness, and providing SQL/database training.Looking ahead, I am eager to transition into a more software-centric role, driven by my passion for new and exciting technologies. My short-term goal is to deepen my expertise in software development and automation, while my long-term goal is to take on leadership roles where I can drive innovation and efficiency improvements. I am open to opportunities across various industries, as long as they present interesting challenges and the potential for growth.Outside of work, I enjoy white water kayaking, hiking, climbing and flying camera drones.
