Directed daily operations on equipment maintenance initiatives, facilities repair, and underway operations with team of ten. While on sea duty, I collaborated with other enlisted personnel on the daily operations of medium endurance US Coast Guard cutter as it sailed the Atlantic, Pacific, and Caribbean Oceans. I headed potentially high-risk operations that included small-boat launches, anchor evolutions, and construction projects. Named Project Foreman, I led 15-person work crew on a variety of superstructure construction projects during ship’s import. We sailed for over 300 days and 50K nautical miles during which I oversaw more than 150 single and dual point davit small-boat launch and recovery evolutions, as well as over 25 anchoring evolutions with my four-person team.

I spearheaded ordering details, pricing, and proposal preparation for a distributer of natural stone products for construction, remodeling, and landscape design industries. I coordinated with architects, builders, designers and homeowners on product selection and functionality. I also was asked to track a large-scale orders that included over $100K of cut stone in 4 shipping containers. Researching competitive vendor pricing, I identified multiple suppliers for new products to optimize margins on bids. Overseeing a yard inventory of over 200 pallets of stone, I gave price quotes for over 20 jobs.
