During my internship at Holocene Advisors, I played a key role on the software engineering team dedicated to enhancing financial analysis tools. My primary project involved developing data dashboards using Plotly with Python and HTML, focusing on precision and user-friendly interfaces for investment analysts. This task not only demanded a deep understanding of data visualization but also required integrating multiple datasets into coherent and actionable insights.In addition to dashboard development, I engineered web scraping tools using BeautifulSoup, and streamlined data ingestion with Apache Airflow DAGs, optimizing the efficiency of our data pipelines. A crucial part of my role was managing database operations on Snowflake, where I employed SQL to ensure robust data management. My ability to quickly adapt to the firm's proprietary libraries and contribute to its extensive codebase demonstrated my technical proficiency in a fast-paced, tech-driven financial environment.

Worked with Harvard professor Dr. Chris Tanner and Google Researcher Dr. Julia Kreutzer to create an armband that uses EMG muscle sensor pulses to translate sign language. Worked on implementing Natural Language Processing models (seq2seq, LSTM) to translate sequences of muscle sensor data representing an ASL word to English text. Accepted to IEEE ICASSP 2022 on 21 January 2022.

SAT/ACT Tutoring: Tutored 10+ students in Greenwich, CT, and Rye, NY for the SAT and ACT tests. My students have averaged a 5 point improvement on the ACT, and the equivalent improvement on the SAT.Tutored students for the Math II, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics SAT Subject Tests. Four of my students received a perfect score (800) on their test, and 7 of my students improved by more than 150 points. Science Tutor: Helped students studying high school and AP level Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science, and Marine Biology. Math Tutor:Tutored a variety of mathematics from Basic Algebra with Middle School kids to Multivariable Calculus with College Students.

Founded Cause 4 Paws, a school club that raises money for the Adopt-A-Dog dog shelter. Expanded club from 30 members to 400+ members in 4 years, raised $4000 for Adopt-A-Dog, organized virtual fundraisers to keep members engaged and active during COVID-19, planned interscholastic fundraising events such as designing and selling bracelets and hoodies, and manage website for academic tutoring and sports coaching.
