Experienced Solution Architect with a demonstrated history of producing results in a wide range of industries including financial, insurance, government, and small businesses. I design solutions using custom and off the shelf software to meet client requirements. Least favorite phrase: "but that's how we've always done it". What Do I Like Doing 9 to 5?- Assembling the tools, software, and people to provide solutions for my customers.- Learning how to use modern tools to safely and efficiently deliver software solutions. - DevOps - working with developers, security, and operations teams to deliver solutions.- Securing Software - using tools like Veracode and integrating them into outdated software release methodologies to deliver secure code in highly regulated environments. (I don't want my data leaked, either!)- Data Analysis - helping customers understand their own data; Snowflake and similar tools are fascinating- Using and teaching what I've learned with small teams: scripting, software development, database designWhat do I do after work?- IoT - Raspberry Pi, Microsoft Azure Percept; ML and AI will become more and more important, and I want to keep up with these technologies, even if I'm not working on them during the day- Digital Radio - HF to UHF communications using digital and analog (yes, that includes Morse Code!)- I just started running again; I ran a Quarter Marathon this spring, and want to get back to running Half Marathons at least once a year.
