I have over 30 years of experience within the information technology industry. Started my career off with software development. Worked and learned on how to perform quality testing of potentially releasable software, software development - writing the code for the releasable product, product planning, resource planning - both hardware and personnel, product enhancements, deployment, training, and of course troubleshooting.From software I moved on to networking and infrastructure. Building networks based on Novell in the early years and then all Microsoft in recent years. Designing layouts of networks, creating networks from scratch, fixing existing networks, and troubleshooting networks. Knowledge comprised of Novell 1.x thru 5.x, Microsoft NT 4.x all the way to the current Microsoft network OS, email platforms of Novell Groupwise, Microsoft Exchange - from early versions of Exchange to newest version, Office365, thousands of network applications for clients and internal use to be evaluated, installed, and supported.With a tool set of software development and networking, I moved into project management and consulting for many years. My current role has me working as a Scrum Product Owner for a number of clients. Working for an MSP, we use Scrum and see our clients as our products. Upon implementing Scrum into our culture I continue to read and get real world experience of using Scrum. Currently hold the Professional Scrum Master I, Professional Scrum Product Owner I, and Scaled Professional Scrum certifications from Scrum.org. Looking to continue my education and certifications by achieving other Scrum certifications from Scrum.org. Although in very recent years my role has pulled me from technical to project management along with CIO/Director role responsibilities for clients, my focus has never changed. Build technology systems with the best interest of a client in mind and enjoy seeing a client gain efficiencies with technology.
