This Preeminent 364 Bed Specialist Hospital for Digestive Disease, Eye, Heart/Vascular, Neurological, Respiratory and Critical Care facility is Owned by Mubadala Healthcare Company, Designed by AEDAS Architects, and Built by Joint Venture of Besix (Six Construct)-Samsung C&T as General Contractor. Project size is 98,000 Square meters with 8000 specialized door openings.Arrived on site two year's into construction phase with 1-year scheduled to completion. Placed in-charge of door and hardware engineering for remaining complex door, frames, hardware to order including: fire-rated corridor, double-egress pairs, lead-lined openings, stair enclosure openings, lobby doors, patient room specialty entry, toilet, and connecting room doors, revamped electrified security openings, specialty openings with automatic operators scheduled for integration with building management and security systems. Worked with Architect and General Contractor and made necessary corrections to finish hardware schedules and door schedules to upgrade openings for conformance to relevant building codes, re-engineered products to coordinate with as-built door construction and/or jobsite conditions. In addition, worked closely with Door Package Manager to trouble-shoot and correct field problems during jobsite installation.
