As a Veterans Trail Crew Leader at Wyoming Conservation Corps, I lead and supervise a team of veterans in various conservation projects across Wyoming, such as trail construction, habitat restoration, and invasive species removal. I apply my skills in project management, team building, and U.S. Department of Defense protocols to ensure the safety, quality, and efficiency of our work. I also coordinate with land managers, stakeholders, and partners to plan and execute the projects according to the goals and expectations of each site.In addition to my role at Wyoming Conservation Corps, I am also an Event Specialist at the University of Wyoming Veterans Services Center, where I organize and facilitate events and activities for student veterans and their families. I am passionate about creating a supportive and engaging community for veterans on campus, and providing them with resources and opportunities to succeed academically and professionally. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in Outdoor Recreation and Tourism Management at the University of Wyoming, with the aim of applying my knowledge and experience to the outdoor industry. I am a U.S. Navy veteran, and an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hiking, camping, fishing, and hunting.
