www.wetnotes.eu is a passion project that I have been working on with my good friend Patrick Scholl since 2013. As avid technical divers, we launched a print magazine to serve the diving community. For many years, I managed the entire magazine production process, from layout to distribution. Since 2019, the editorial responsibilities have shifted to my co-owners, allowing me to focus on managing the finances and overseeing tax-related matters.

The mission of DocumentFuture AG is to create a leading SaaS platform for document management. In my role, I lead the software and platform development efforts, managing a standing local team of 10 professionals, including developers, sales specialists, and marketers and changing nearshore of offshore teams.The main success of the platform was the industry leading integration of document management and Microsoft Outlook was was funded on our reserarch in 2004+ within Mind&Machines GmbH.

From 2008 to 2010, I took two transformative sabbatical years to refocus on personal growth, particularly in the areas of human connections and happiness. During this period, I deeply valued the trust, respect, and gratitude expressed by my students and clients, which have profoundly influenced my professional and personal life.

In 2004, my colleague Micha Voigt and I founded our own business in Switzerland, specializing in Microsoft integrations and new technologies. Our work was recognized three times consecutively as one of the top 10 implementations in various Microsoft worldwide competitions. We were also invited to Microsoft Headquarters in Redmond for exclusive first-hand partner product launches, such as the Tablet PC. This expertise laid the groundwork for the subsequent success of doculife GmbH, particularly in Outlook and Microsoft integrations.

While officially remaining a computer science student at Karlsruhe University, I began working in my uncle's family business, which specialized in payment slip processing. I was responsible for designing and developing the complete OCR/ICR platform. As the business evolved into developing Document Management Systems, the OCR/ICR platform became an integral component. Additionally, I specialized in search technologies, including Autonomy and Lucene.
