Chairperson
CurrentAs an Executive Group Chair I provide guidance and influence that helps leaders look at new ideas and different ways of handling issues. I like members to think of their groups as an advisory board, sharing ideas and challenges in an environment of trust, free from politics or “business as usual.” I believe the most important thing I can do for my members is to be completely honest and maintain total confidentiality. I enjoy finding answers to new problems and helping members learn from each other. As leaders, we are often called upon to solve problems that are new to us. One of the most exciting things about leading an Executive Agenda group is watching the members question all different aspects of a topic. I’ve found that many times, the people with the least initial knowledge of a challenge ask the best and most insightful questions. Although we deal with serious issues, our quarterly meetings are exciting and fun. Executive Agenda (EA) is Wisconsin’s oldest and largest membership organization dedicated exclusively to executive development across diverse business functions. We’re focused on shaping members into confident leaders, critical thinkers and problem solvers. And we care about generating unique corporate and personal value for the leader you want to be, the leader you know you are.
