Primary responsibilities:• Analog and digital hardware with focus on audio and sensors• Audio and acoustics for mobile devices• E-compass, accelerometer, photo-interrupter, proximity detection• LabView testsoftware for sensors device qualifications• Engineering lead (coordinator) on mobile phone project in the baseband hardware group• Test of audio and acoustics (ZN5) according to Motorola and 3GPP standards• On-site support at prototype production (ZN5) in Tianjin, China• Current drain tests (ZN5) in relation to Motorola standards• Daily contact to colleagues and component suppliers from Europe, USA and Asia• Part of engineering group in US to smoothen the transition period between BenQ and Motorola ownership

• Audio and acoustics development in DK and on-site support at BenQ in Beijing• Qualification of sensor devices including implementation of test setup and test software

• Responsible for the audio development on several mobile phones (SX1, SL75 and C65) • Specification and test of speaker to mobile phone (SL75) in cooperation with suppliers• Design, test and type approval of acoustical solutions• Audio architecture and parameterization of signal processing (Filter design, AEC, VAD, compressor) for best audio performance• Test and debug of audio hardware in relation to inductive coupling and RF noise immunity (EMC)• Qualification, test and optimization of display optical performance for Xelibri X3 (in Ulm, Germany)• Member of specialist group on vibration motors for mobile phones• Hearing Aid Compatibility (HAC) including taking part in standardization and test in mobile phone

Shortly after aquired the position the company was taken over by Siemens Mobile Phones. My main tasks were:• Audio and acoustics. Test and type approval of S40 and S42• Study of airborne and structure-borne coupling of sound from speaker to microphone for better echo return loss • Development and implementation of display el-foil backlight noise tester at supplier in Japan

Consultancy in Acoustics, Noise and Vibration. From the office in Aarhus I worked with several companies troubleshooting, solving and verifying noise and vibration related issues.
