Commercializing process technology licensed from Murray Extraction Technologies LLC (MET) and Modern Fuels LLC for upgrading Used Lubricating Oil (ULO) to Marine Gas Oil (MGO) and upgrading further nearly all MGO to premium quality base oils, balance being clean burning marine fuel. Process achieves over 53% yield of Group III base oil. Group III base oil comprises the majority of most synthetic lubricants today. Over 80% of current Group III base oil supply in North America is imported, primarily from the Far East and Middle East. Process features include:- relatively low capex and opex,- forecasted returns substantially exceeding 35% per year, - 85% lower Carbon Intensity (CI) versus virgin base oil crude production,- 61% lower Carbon Intensity (CI) versus re-refined base oil made using hydrotreating, - core technologies which have successfully processed ULO into other products collectively for over 155 years,- low risk innovations to core technologies creating higher quality products which are proven in pilot plant, - independent engineering report supporting feasibility of innovations; and- technical efficacy insurance available from AXA XL (AM Best A+) .

Through this wholly-owned subsidiary of Murray Extraction Technologies, commercializing our efficient technology for creating high yields of high quality marine fuels from a wide range of used lubricating oils. Technology is low carbon intensity and proven in our pilot facility, with available technical efficacy guarantee from AM Best A+ rated credit. Commercialization will be through licensed plants producing Marine Gas Oil (MGO) which will meet the very stringent Emissions Control Area Zone (ECA) requirements of 0.1% sulfur marine fuel. ECA Zones were first implemented in the United States and Northwestern Europe on January 1, 2015 and later expanded into South Korea, China, and latest addition being Mediterranean Sea. Continued emphasis on clean burning fuels for shipping, particularly in highly populated coastal areas, is demand driver for MGO.
