I am the Managing Director at Quanovo, a Data Science company specialising in Machine Learning solutions. Along with the usual responsibilities of Managing Director I like to keep my hands dirty with the development side of our projects so I am often involved with designing, implementing and maintaining models and strategies used by Quanovo for financial data analysis of stocks listed on several global indices. Also included in my responsabilities is running client facing Data Science and Machine Learning projects at Quanovo.I have previously worked as a Technical Manager at Building Blocks Digital Agency and prior to that I was a member of the NeST Software Lab at the Department of Computer Science in The University of Liverpool as a Senior Developer and then Scrum Product Owner.I obtained my BSc in Computer Science Software Development in 2010 and my MSc in Advanced Computer Science in 2011, both from the University of Liverpool. I then went on to do my PhD in Computer Science at the same institute. My PhD is in the field of Algorithms. Specifically on the topic of Distributed Computing. While completing my PhD my research interests revolve around Agent Patrolling and Search and Rendezvous problems with my Doctoral Thesis titled "Navigation Problems for Autonomous Robots in Distributed Environments".
