Aug 2010 - Present

Project Manager

As a Project Manager for Weston, I was responsible for ensuring the success of an assignment, from staffing, technical execution, scheduling, budgeting, bid preparation and procurement, construction oversight, and most importantly, client satisfaction. The projects that I managed covered a broad range of environmental consulting tasks, including:1. Led remedial investigations of the nature and extent of chemical releases. 2. Directed additional scientific investigations by specialists, such as wetland delineations, threatened and endangered species surveys, tree surveys, fish surveys, benthic macroinvertebrate surveys, plant uptake studies, hydraulic and hydrologic modeling, subsurface geologic investigations, and evaluation of historically significant areas/structures.3. Managed engineering teams that developed and implemented cost-effective and state-of-the-art remedial designs to address chemical contamination that posed potential environmental threats. All of these tasks required procurement processes that were designed to select contractors that worked safely, brought relevant experience to the project, and maintained strict adherence to budgets and schedule. 4. Participated in client business development. 5. Performed additional assignments, including: drinking water supply sampling, asbestos and lead-based paint surveys, Phase I reports, stormwater pond cleanouts, underground storage tanks, and risk assessment evaluations of potential property transfers.6. Continued risk assessment work.
