Tom Greer is an innovative marketing and communications professional with a broad range of experience. Tom has translated his skills to support public education and fellow association professionals.For almost nine years, Tom managed Time Warner Cable’s local events and education initiatives, including activation of the sponsorship with University of Texas Athletics and IMG College. In 2008, Tom became the Director of Communications for TASBO, the Texas Association of School Business Officials – a state association with more than 9,000 members. He has helped TASBO thrive and innovate, playing a key role in helping the association educate those who help make education possible. Now Associate Executive Director, Tom continues to find ways to bring the association's outstanding achievements to life.A Lifetime Longhorn, Tom is a graduate from UT-Austin, and received his Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation through ASAE, the Center for Association Leadership. He recently was elected President of the Northwood Neighborhood Association in north Austin.
