Home office technical underwriting providing support to market facing underwriters with guidelines, quote/binding platforms, process management and staff training. Accomplishments, among others, include:• Setting up International guidelines and processes/procedures with intimate knowledge of current regulatory issues, economic indicators, trends and competitor strategies;• Collaborating with home office and various BUs in North America to conduct audits and to address findings from audits;• Taking compliance referrals, ensuring file documentation maintained for each risk and transaction handled.• Standardizing International quote/binder templates;• Crafting and implementing standard process procedures;• Conducting International and Cross Border Certification training;• Assessing International business and make recommendation to improve global compliance;

Field and home office underwriting, influencing profitable growth of international book of business and providing support to market facing underwriting staff. Achievements, among others:• Designing, maintaining Commercial Market International product offerings, participating in the development and execution of international program underwriting strategy for Liability and Property lines of business.• Taking referrals from market facing underwriters to provide underwriting guidance and requested authority for higher limits and restricted risk class. • Setting up International Underwriting guidelines and processes/procedures.• Underwriting new and renewal international programs to meet P/C line business targets.• Negotiating price and terms and conditions with producers.• Providing international underwriting training to Commercial Market Intl underwriters. • Teaming up with the market facing underwriters to strategize new business acquisition including broker/customer visits.
