As a leader in agrifood, I’m focused on new thinking and innovation within Australian’s agriculture sector. I am passionate about the opportunities that innovation and digitisation in agrifood create for farmers and producers, including greater productivity, growth and prosperity.As the Director of the Agtech and Logistics Hub, I’m responsible for developing and cultivating a platform where industry, academia, government, startups and entrepreneurs can collaborate to find real-world solutions for challenges facing our agribusinesses.I have an intimate understanding of agriculture – my family have been farmers for generations, and I've held a number of prominent roles within the sector since 2015.I’m also the CEO of AgriFood Connect, an organisation connecting the entire agrifood value chain, and a Director at AATLIS, a world-first, industry-led collaborative solutions precinct in the farming-rich Toowoomba region. In my wide-ranging career, I’ve also held management roles at Sunny Queen Australia and was a commercial aviation pilot for more than six years.I’ve assisted agribusinesses with digital connectivity and improving sustainability, as well as increasing productivity across the agrifood supply chain with value adding processes, new thinking and innovations.
