As an Enterprise Solutions Architect, I lead a team of software architects in coordinating the integration of new systems and analyzing the existing enterprise for optimization opportunities. We also recommend new technologies for integration. Additionally, I continue to carry forward many responsibilities from my previous role as a Software Architect. Most recently, I developed a proof-of-concept application for performing image search, leveraging vector similarity search using PyTorch and RediSearch (as the vector database).

As a Software Architect I am responsible for guiding the design and implementation of new applications and functionality. This includes everything from authoring architecture related documentation to project planning and execution. In this capacity, I made substantial contributions to the architecture plan and initial development of the migration of our legacy e-commerce platform from ColdFusion to .NET. This included the development of bespoke functionality for the server-side rendering of React components within the .NET process. Further, I create prototypes and proofs of concept for “outside the box” solutions for application requirements as well as help maintain internally published common libraries. Additionally, I collaborate with senior project engineers and other architects on the foundational application design and selection of appropriate application architectural patterns. Finally, I assist in recruiting efforts by administering technical interviews and maintaining candidate screening tests.

As a Senior Software Engineer, I worked on the migration and creation of various system to a .NET (initially .NET Framework, eventually .NET Core) environment.

As a Senior Software Engineer, I was responsible for developing, maintaining, and scaling the backend API which was utilized by mobile client applications.

As a Senior Software Developer, I worked the implementation of a new Python based Google App Engine application. In this capacity I also supported a mixture of other internal application.

As a Developer I was responsible for the development and maintenance of .NET applications as well as SQL based reporting.

As a Software Developer I was responsible for the development and maintenance of .NET, Classic ASP, and Java (BlackBerry) applications.

Managed name servers, websites, services, and databases. In a support capacity, I was responsible for managing Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server as well as Microsoft Windows XP workstations.

My work centered mostly around desktop support in a helpdesk-type environment where users would call in with their various issues with their computer, printing, or e-mail.

I was hired as an intern for the summer to fix various computer related issues as well as maintain their small Active Directory and Exchange 2000 deployment.
