Send email to customer telling them the problem had been corrected from installing new memory for upgrade, replacing Raid drives, swapping out servers.* Install firmware, Raid, Operating systems Windows 2003, Linux 4.0 and 5.0 on HP Proliant Servers. Rack and Stack the servers, install the cabling, IP addresses, secondary IP addresses. Perform QA on other servers.Silicon Valley BankData Center Technician - Monitored over 120 production Servers, four LPAR's on two AS/400, one operated remotely, Responded to Tier1 problems, tiers 2 and 3 logged and escelated in Remedy.Put steps to solving issues in database. Once backups were completed, read the log to verify all files had been successfully saved and contacted system administrator if any files had failed to be saved.Ensure that all bank bte files and POD files were balanced, if not contact the department to inform them they were out of balance awere to be used that day for the backup.
