Phd Student In Power Electronics
CurrentI am pursuing my Ph.D. at 3D PLUS in collaboration with the SATIE laboratory (at ENS Paris-Saclay). Denis LABROUSSE is my thesis supervisor, Raphael FILIPE from 3D PLUS, and Patrick DUBUS from POWERLOGY are my industrial advisors. This partnership, which pools the resources and expertise of multiple parties, has provided me with a stimulating learning environment.My research aims to develop a high current (>100A), low-voltage (<1.5V) output converter utilizing GaN transistors for space applications. My PhD's main fields of research include:• DC/DC converter design, analog circuit design• Electrical circuit simulation using SIMetrix/SIMPLIS (SPICE simulator)• Thermal and magnetic simulation using 2D (FEMM) and 3D (ANSYS, Q3D) finite elements• Prototyping development and laboratory testing (such as board assembly, routing, testing, and validation)• Development of Python algorithms based on machine learning• Authoring patent applications and scientific articles.My research goal is to develop pioneering techniques for power conversion that effectively exploit GaN transistors' benefits and satisfy space application requirements. I am deeply interested in power electronics and am determined to contribute significantly to this field.
Intern - Analog Electronics Engineer
Mission: • Development of a neural network to determine the losses and behavior of a given magnetic material. This work is a continuation of my previous internship at 3D Plus.• Study and design of a low voltage, high current DC/DC converter for space application. This work is part of a PhD thesis between 3D Plus and the Ecole Normale Supérieure de Paris Saclay (ENS Paris Saclay) that will start at the end of 2022.
