Responsibilities included managing and performing master scheduling, capacity planning, shop floor control, production scheduling, purchasing, forecasting, and distribution planning in an environment of over $100,000,000 in sales, $3,000,000 of raw materials, and over 800 active finished goods items in a national / international scope. Significant accomplishments included managing the conversion to an ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system in the areas of shop floor control, materials, and forecasting. Other important contributions are identification and reduction of excess / obsolete inventory, transitioning production to new facilities, and improvements in forecasting methods.
