Provide 24/7 direct technical support for 100+ General Officers, Senior Executives, and Senior Leaders at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA). Identify and analyze trends that affect the network, to ensure VIP hardware and software meet security requirements. Evaluate technical challenges and provide solutions to key decision makers.Key Achievements:• Created agency-wide technical manuals and standard operating procedure documents to aid users’ in common technical issues, reducing trouble calls and end users’ downtime.• Overhauled agency’s system administrative checklist, which reduced onboarding processing time for new employees from 10 days to 5 days.• Led 10-person team for the agency’s Command Cyber Readiness Inspection (CCRI), which mitigated 600+ network vulnerabilities. Resulted in the agency passing the audit.• Managed 3-person team that migrated, configured and deployed 100 general officers and senior leaders workstations on both classified and unclassified networks. • Analyzed, mitigated, and corrected weekly vulnerability reports to ensure VIP users devices are protected from the latest threats.

Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base

Lead technician for the Seymour-Johnson Air Force Base’s Helpdesk, which provided IT support for 6,000+ users, and led operations for $2.5M Data Center. Managed secure authentication methods utilizing public key infrastructure (PKI) technologies and procedures. Prioritized Continuity of Operations Plans (COOP) operations with 6 separate work centers when network outages occurred. Orchestrated network wide soft certificate rollout, which created e-mail encryption for 130 government owned iPhones.Key Achievements:• Received Meritorious Service Ribbon for saving $67K in Air Force assets and six terabytes of critical data during a cooling system failure.• Led Tiger Team that removed 209K software risks on 5K computers, resulting in an “Excellent” rating for the base’s 2014 Cyber Readiness Inspection. • Managed a team that identified and deleted 668 unused network accounts, saving the Air Force $26K• Recognized by base commander for exceptional customer service for recovering 4 gigabytes of missing e-mails. • Analyzed and implemented Air Force Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVA). • Built and configured servers per the Department of Defense’s security technical implementation guides (STIG).
