Analyze balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements to extract data. Prepare and submit various quarterly and annual economic surveys for the U.S. Census Bureau.Perform quarterly internal testing to ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Collect random reconciliations and test for completeness and managerial review. Analyze and review policies, providing documents to department heads to sign that policies and procedures are followed, etc.Prepare multiple Oracle reports (expense distribution reports, general ledger reports, and budget reports) and distribute monthly invoices to 7 domestic and international locations with 10 plants to validate accuracy of intercompany transactions. Investigate and resolve discrepancies reported by plant finance managers. Perform various month end responsibilities including bank reconciliations and training journal entries (bill backs to cost centers). Run, compile, and distribute monthly expense and general ledger reports to internal audit, product engineering, legal, and human resource directors.Perform several support roles for compilation of quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) reports. Proofread and validate financial data, conferring with senior financial analyst regarding corrections.Participated in four annual physical inventory audits with internal audit staff; process included meeting with all involved plant personnel to review procedural changes. Observed and randomly selected inventory to ensure accuracy during audit. Participated in review of audit results with plant finance staff.
