I run a driving school franchise that specialises in providing premium driving training. All marketing activity is done for instructors, as well as customer bookings and delivery of pre-course resources. The value of this driving school is in providing meaningful driving training within a safe environment which promotes pupil and instructor emotional wellbeing. Before coming into the driving industry my background was in Quality Assurance where I gained experience in providing training for Quality Improvement Teams in a manufacturing environment, that strived to do things better, more efficiently and to a better standard. I very much enjoy working with people and adapting learning techniques to meet individuals' needs. I also had 11 years of experience in the police before setting up my own driving school. I gained experience in large recruitment drives and interviewing candidates at Hendon. I have experience of driving instructor training, and training learners with a range of special needs inc learning difficulties eg autism related, and pupils with loss of hearing and/or speech.I am passionate about what I do, and I am always willing to learn new things. I have a particular interest, that has developed quite naturally through my careers of investing time and effort in recruitment and upskilling. I have a healthy appetite for reading, I love to learn from others and although I like to play chess and golf, I think I would describe those as more leisurely activities that help with my emotional wellbeing.And lastly, my last "mention" goes to the dog! I have a lovely yellow labrador who goes by the name of Bella and she lets me say whatever I like to her and never complains! She does wonders for calming and I would encourage everyone to go out and get one!
