From the delicacy of prayer to the drama of the Himalayan mountains, this photobook explores the tenderness and the chaos from the country on everyone’s list: India.Proceeds from this PhotoBook will be donated to Kaikala Chetana, a community-run, volunteer-based education program for India’s rural poor in West Bengal, which - during the peak of the recent COVID lockdown - was hit by Cyclone ‘Amphan’, destroying homes, crops, and agricultural resources upon which the village depends.

Walked and documented the 850km Camino del Norte to raise money for and draw attention to the fires that had been lit across the Amazon Rainforest.• Through a self-promoted crowdfunding campaign, sponsorship and selling photographic prints, £2000 were raised for Amazon Watch in their support of Amazonian Indigenous communities in the wake of the fires. "Upon first interaction with Thomas, I was immediately inspired by his dedication to protect the earth and impressed with his ability to take initiative to protect the climate in creative ways." - Amazon Watch• Created, organised and managed the social, online and print media under the title ‘Camino for the Amazon’, sharing stories of people and places along the way to draw interest and engagement into the project. The released project consists of multiple writings, articles and tributes, on my personally managed website.

Documentary / storytelling telling project with refugees in Italy• Shining a light on the refugee crisis in Europe by connecting people to the stories of an individual, to provoke sympathy and empathy through photographs, videos and articles.

Documentary Travel Project and Fundraiser Photography ExhibitionStorytelling travel project across Northern India publishing photographs and stories on a self-managed website.Exhibited the photographs in Sydney, raising $5000 for 'Kaikala Chetana', a remote education centre which featured in the project. • Upon my travels I visited Kaikala Chetana, a remote, volunteer run education program in the village of Kaikala, West Bengal. • Upon return to Sydney I exhibited 25 frames at Bella Vista Cafe as a part of my ‘India Collection, Fundraiser Event Photography Exhibition’ to raise money for ‘Kaikala Chetana’. • Managed the organization, promotion and coordination of the exhibition which raised over $5000AU through the sales of all the photographs, funding the program for two years.
