As Lieutenant, I managed the midnight shift for the East Division and oversaw 3 Sergeants and 30 Officers. I was in charge of the City on weekends and holidays, responsible for all city police services, and over 100 Officers. I led a multi-agency task force focusing on violent criminal offenders. This task force consisted of State, Local and Federal Law Enforcement officers and worked hand in hand with the US Attorney's Office and Monroe County District Attorney's Office. Assigned to Special Investigations Intelligence Unit, where I was assigned to assist with Executive Protections details for three Presidential visits as well as other national and foreign dignitaries. NY State Certified Instructor. Developed a one week course for new investigators, used by NY State for new Investigators.During my career I received over 40 commendations for service including the prestigious William French Smith Award for Cooperative Law Enforcement presented in Washington, DC on August 31, 2005.
