I am pleased to announce that I have accepted a new position with Pitney Bowes to head up lending efforts to their one million small and mid size business clients. We are looking to add to our team as we engage in new and exciting strategies in working capital financing with a target in the shipping and logistics areas. If you have a background in working capital finance as a relationship manager with experience in factoring, lines of credit, etc and would like to explore opportunities to join a growing team please reach out to me. We are also looking for individuals in credit risk management, portfolio management and underwriting, marketing and other fields. My responsibilities included overseeing our Business Banking division that specializes in a differentiated approach to relationship management of small and emerging businesses with annual revenues up to $50 million.As a speaker, I enjoy addressing small business groups on topics such as: How to use SBA loans, sales management, creative use of credit and other topics related to business growth. We work with chambers and many organizations who serve the small business community. Before I joined The PrivateBank, I was Senior Vice President and Group Manager for Small Business and Retail Banking at First Chicago Bank and Trust. My responsibilities included managing a team of Business Banking Relationship Managers and Credit Underwriters with a focus on building a team to generate C&I loan/deposit relationships. I was also asked to oversee seven retail branches through a network of Regional Market and Customer Service Managers where we built a marketing program for a significant increase in DDA deposits. Prior to my time at First Chicago, I was Group Senior Vice President of Business Banking in the Midwest for LaSalle Bank, part of ABN AMRO Bank. My responsibilities included managing a $1Billion loan portfolio through 80 Relationship Managers in Illinois, Michigan, and Indiana.
