As the VP of Technology I oversaw the planning, design, and implementation of our entire product stack. As the Director of Development my responsibilities include overseeing the research, selection, design, development, implementation, and release of all our software products and hardware peripheral devices and platforms. I work closely with the leads of each technical department as well as network security and infrastructure design to ensure consistent improvement and stability as our customer and installation base grows.Additionally, I continue to be part of the product design and roadmap discussions with the business members of the company, and our external partners, to incorporate new offerings and explore new markets. The project management team and I work closely with sales, marketing, and customer service as we continue to increase our reputation and viability in this emerging marketplace.While managing and coordinating with the various business interests is a primary part of my responsibilities, I maintain an active hand by completing programming tasks and assisting with our extensive hands-on testing protocols. This way I am able to contribute leveraging my years of experience and remaining firmly grounded in our development process.

I joined CooCoo in April of 2013 as a web and backend developer for their mobile transit ticketing platform.My experience in software design, data architecture, customer service, and user-experience work flow have allowed to integrate with our small, but knowledgable team to begin adding value right away.Whether it's product and feature design, product road-mapping, or refining development workflows for the various projects, I bring my collaborative attitude, ingenuity, and experience to bear with quality and integrity.

Switching to the development side has greatly expanded my experience and abilities working on the product from the ground up.Having been with the company longer than most of my colleagues, I can offer in depth product and business knowledge while leveraging their greater combined technical experience.Leading or following, I work to make the team a success, as well as myself.

I was responsible for maintaining the integrity of our online-based software suite for company users, as well as updating specific sections as our third-party utilities release new versions.I was hired to create the support department layer between our users (fellow employees) and the development department. Under my direction, user confidence in the system and general knowledge regarding the system has increased markedly. Coming from a strong educational background, I continue to work with our training department to form classes and documents for our users to increase their efficiency and resourcefulness. Working with them, we have been able to cut the standard training period of new employees from 3 months to 6 weeks.
