I am passionate, committed, and a knowledgeable film and video enthusiast. I see myself as a proficient storyteller through scriptwriting, video editing, and audio syncing. I am also skillfully creative with meticulous attention to detail. I am a dedicated individual and valuable team member. I am a graduate of George Mason University, Summa Cum Laude, with a BA in Film and Video Studies and a minor in Multimedia. During my employment at Cortina Productions, I worked forty hours per week compiling clips, captioning, and sprucing up maps and paintings for various projects, including Mount Vernon’s “Be Washington” Interactive Theater. I also performed other tasks, such as graphic design cropping, footage cutting, and user-testing for future and existing exhibits. I was able to multi-task and complete these assignments in an organized and timely fashion using Premiere, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator. My internship was extended for four months, and following that, they offered me a contract position as a Production Assistant, uploading and cataloging images to the company database. When that contract expired, there were no other contract opportunities available. Nevertheless, I was inspired by the company’s devotion towards creating immersive and engaging interactives in museums, and I have learned a great deal about business values, teamwork, and innovative thinking. Before honing my skills at Cortina Productions, I also gained experience with the Adobe Creative Suite when interning at Gearshift Studios and working on class-related assignments, including my Senior Project short film Camera Conscious.
