I am a Formula 1 journalist with PlanetF1.com - the F1 arm of the Planet Sport network. My daily tasks include research of stories through sourcing, compilation of articles, increasing social media reach, and content generation. Both myself and my publication are accredited by the governing body of Formula 1, the FIA.I have also worked for over 15 years in the Irish radio industry, primarily with KFM Radio Kildare, and KCLR96FM. I worked full-time as Head of Production with KFM, working with advertising and station imaging. I also worked this role in a cover/part-time capacity with KCLR. I was also a cover DJ and presenter for both stations.My background is Media Production, which I studied in Dublin, graduating in 2010 with Distinction from BCFE. I spent many years working in a freelance role with local radio station KCLR96FM, where I worked in show & commercial production as well as show presentation.I have also produced numerous radio plays, two of which were nominated in their categories in the Irish PPI Awards 2011. 'A Time For Hope & Desperation' by Rebecca Moran, and 'Hooked' by Gillian Grattan were the two nominations last year, and 'Hooked' went on to claim silver.Working for 'Evil Little Genius Productions', I have also been responsible for audio production of radio dramas 'Beyond The Forest' and 'The Lost Weekend', and 'The Undertakers', all by Kilkenny playwright Gillian Grattan'. The Undertakers was broadcast at Halloween 2012. Another play I produced was called Seconds, by Syd Evans, which went on to claim silver in its category at the PPI Radio Awards 2008.
