Hello!I'm Tommy. My career has spanned a few different industries from the beverage and hospitality industry to textual content for startups. Throughout my career, I have engaged with challenging research projects, written in-depth articles, developed style guides for brands, built creative environments to foster teamwork, and created settings with high standards that promoted a quality experience for clients and guests of all backgrounds. In 2021 I went back to revisit my academic path that I had paused in order to pursue my career in hospitality. As a graduate of UC Berkeley, I engaged with major research projects and presented research at major conferences including conferences at UC Irvine and the Los Angeles area. I majored in English and completed a year long honors research seminar. My thesis was on California literature in the 60s. I graduated with high honors in the major (equivalent of magna cum laude) and as an member of the senior honors seminar cohort. I'm excited to continue to pursue meaningful research and projects and to engage with difficult ideas to broaden my knowledge.
