Write, edit, design, and publish grant funding proposals, and help clients manage their awarded grants. Some of my accomplishments include organizing and establishing J-U-B’s grant writing team as their official “Funding Group;” designing the grant writing team’s website. During my nearly five years with J-U-B, my team’s well-written and attractive funding proposals have won over $300 million in funding for our clients, with a success rate of nearly 95 percent.-Write clear, easy-to-understand funding proposals for civil engineering infrastructure projects for a broad range of clientele.-Design cover pages, proofread, edit, and print funding proposals that are professional in design and language.-Use Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe Products (Acrobat, InDesign) to prepare various proposal document styles, reports, presentations, and spreadsheets.-Work collaboratively with project managers, planners, and engineers to obtain content for funding proposals, forms, and exhibits.-Research and compile statistical/technical information to support funding proposals.-Research funding opportunities and create informational documents to present to project managers, clients, and governing bodies.-Interview clients, such as project stakeholders, local, state, and federal agencies to understand their story.-Prepare clients for funding eligibility by helping them register on government platforms.-Develop and expand grant writing work within other states and company office locations.-Create and maintain relationships with corporate, foundation, and government partners.-Help clients manage grant awards to ensure proper use of grant funds and compliance with Federal, State, and local procurement and reporting standards.-Design and manage online content for the Funding Group’s SharePoint platform.
