-Ensure the delivery of accurate, school-specific pathway, transfer and career mapping and programming for Dallas College Creative Arts, Entertainment and Design students that promote student pathway persistence, credential completion, transfer, and employment.-Provide precise credential, career, and transfer support for student-selected pathways.-Collaborate with faculty, Success Coaches, marketing and key stakeholders to develop and promote pathways for all students, including special populations such as non-credit, dual credit, first-time in college, veteran, ESL/ESOL, Adult Basic Education, and transfer.-Serve as the liaison for faculty and Success Coaches with wrap-around support for student success.-Assess program outcomes and tracking student pathway progress toward completion.

-Specialize within the school of business, hospitality, and global trade to provide keen insight on programming and career paths within these career clusters for credit and non-credit students -Develop standard processes and procedures for the Continuing Education Success Coaching Division -Serve as the central, ongoing case manager for an assigned caseload of Dallas College non-credit students -Provide professional academic advising, career exploration, relevant resource referrals, orientation, and registration assistance to new and continuing Dallas College student -Provide timely responses to student’s inquiries via phone, email, and technology applications -Collaborate with a broad network of internal and external partners to connect students to additional supports that address student needs and support their success -Utilize technology to streamline student communications, nudges, and progress monitoring -Collaborate with Pathway Specialists to assist unassigned students in selecting a pathway and program of study -Employ equity-minded strategies aimed at ensuring engagement and support for historically marginalized and underserved student populations -Collaborate across the division to develop and implement high-impact engagement and support strategies that promote a sense of belonging and strengthened student outcomes -Develop, manage, and communicate services and resources through program promotions, class presentations, training sessions, and faculty and community collaborations -Prepare reports, proposals, and recommendations for overall programs and maintain records of assigned activities

-Assist students in linking career and life goals to educational programs and services.-Track, report and follow up on students, programs, and activities.-Serve as a student resource for developing resumes, finding careers, applying to colleges or workforce training programs, developing interviewing and networking skills, and finding resources for transportation and other social service needs-Support students with the selection of a career within DCCCD’s Career Pathways by assessing the student's stage of academic and career development and promoting student growth by determining suitable developmental tasks; assisting in the establishment of realistic and attainable academic and career goals, with specific consideration to a student's financial plan to completion of identified pathway. -Assess and interpret career keys and maps that indicate student’s career interests and values -Collaborates with the Senior Academic Advisors and instructional colleagues to help students successfully navigate DCCCD’s Career Pathways processes. -Effectively communicate with business and community leaders/partners the benefits of investing in the development of community college students. -Support students with developing career management plans, including resume, cover letter and interview preparation; job search skills, internship/externship exploration; soft skill awareness; networking strategies; and self-branding.-Provide proactive case management career coaching for students from beginning to completion, advising them in academic and career planning, including program and course information, scheduling, registration, transfer requirements, articulations with other educational institutions and graduation requirements -Responsible for the actual registration, drop/add, and withdrawal functions, including the actual data entry into the registration system for each student advised

- Determine students' needs by way of probing questions and analyzing their academic file via Colleague, eStudias, and PeopleSoft- Refer students to available resources based on their needs by applying sound judgement and knowledge of student support services, in addition to campus and district policies and procedures- Assess situations to determine the priority of students' needs, by guaging the number of students needing assistance, the scope of what is required, and the resources available for resolution- Coordinate and schedule appointments with employers and students, and act as point-of-contact for the career services center- Develop and maintain an electronic and hard copy filing system- Adhere to strict student confidentiality guidelines in accordance to FERPA- Answer and direct phone calls- Assist in campus event planning and coordinating, particularly job and career info fairs

-Oversee advertising for COINage Magazine-Sell ads (online, print, and digital components) to existing and new advertisers across all publication verticals -Use proprietary systems and DataTrax to maintain customer database, track results, provide customer service and growth opportunities-Work lead lists to cold call and identify new advertisers-Collaborate with advertisers and Marketing on materials for the creation of ad designs-Facilitate ongoing communication with Editorial/Advertising partners-Work trade shows across the nation
