I joined Actavis in May of 2013, as part of Global Engineering at Actavis Corporate headquarters in Parsippany, supporting multiple packaging sites, both US and overseas. Successfully managed multiple new packaging line implementations ($6 million, solid oral dose bottling), and packaging line equipment upgrades (cartoning and bottling), and serialization program line implementations, globally. Actavis became Allergan, and then Allergan sold off the Actavis generics business to Teva Pharmaceuticals. I became a Teva employee as part of that deal .As of the August 2016, I became part of Teva, and my role became focused on being the Americas Regional Lead for the TEVA Global Serialization Program, overseeing serialization program activities for packaging line implementations at multiple sites and on multiple packaging lines, to meet the US regulatory compliance deadline for serialization by November 2017 (which was then moved to Nov 2018 enforcement date). My role also included actively managing selected vendors, tracking of costs and timelines, developing corporate standards, and harmonizing sites to follow standards and common practices. The Serialization deadline for the US was successfully met without any significant issues nor downtime across all sites supplying the US market. In additional , my oversight included 2 EU sites that met their compliance date for FMD requirements for Feb 2019. Total scope of oversight was 89 lines, 15 sites, $43 mil, all successfully implemented with no disruption.Next phases of serialization included overseeing lines to prepare for supply to the Russia market (2020), and also the Aggregation requirement for the US Market (2023). Participated in the development/selection process of vendors, sites, and lines for the Aggregation Pilot project.
