I am a Senior M&A Leader / CFO and Investment Strategy Specialist, leading the delivery of complex divestments, acquisitions and financing initiatives for knowledge intensive corporates and Private Equity backed businesses. Most recently I have been Executive VP – Corporate Development & M&A at Glycom in their successful sales process to DSM in 2020 having joined them in 2016 as Group CFO to build their Finance function from the ground up. My earlier career includes: 5-years at Novozymes as Senior Manager M&A, Corporate Strategy / Corporate Finance, leading strategic acquisitions across the business; and 4-years with FIH Partners, including as Vice President. I combine my extensive strategic M&A and corporate finance leadership experience to effectively drive commercially-astute decision making, while leading the negotiation and implementation of sustainable M&A strategies and driving commercial value creation in rapidly changing environments. This recently includes guiding delivery of Glycom’s 1-year divestment process to enable their sale for €765m.I can leverage my background in building Finance functions across both established and start-up businesses to enable long-term growth.Additionally, I nurture trusted senior stakeholder relationships up to Board level and with investors/owners to win buy-in to long-term objectives.
