Contracted and directed all aspects of pricing, terms, delivery, production, development, installation, and training for the largest litigation support project ($4.3B action, Bell Atlantic v. AT&T) in the history of the company.

Designed the technology for the newly-formed Imaging Services Group division. Supervised all development necessary to build a delivery capability and reported directly to the Vice President for Technical Operations. Responsible for training operations managers and providing technical assistance to sales and marketing efforts. Led a software development team to construct a common software application interface between input and retrieval technologies. Integration work included remote access methodologies and wide-area network systems. Became the primary liaison with Merrill for strategic customers and advised on methods to develop these accounts.

Integrated a high-speed, multi-format image processing network that included more than one-hundred data-entry and quality control workstations. Other projects focused on the areas of dynamic workflow management and mainframe connectivity.

Responsible for the development and testing of the Parallax OCR product and eKlipse scanning software, which were the precursors to EMC/Captiva's InputAccel product. Managed systems integration projects, including the first high-volume image production local area network for general commercial use in the industry. Added imaging technology to the internal office environment. Responsible for the design and implementation of several data management solutions to maintain client information, inventory, and maintenance records. Duties included technical marketing and customer support, hardware and software maintenance, and principal contact for development contractors. The company was acquired by CACI.

Researched issues relating to transportation and urban systems, as part of the Center for Transportation and Land Policy. Participated in and led several design projects, including the first cognitive map for the Alexandria Drafting Company, defining the boundaries Tyson's Corner, Virginia. Some of the projects involved developing prototypes and interactive simulations, as well as consumer product design. These designs leveraged various applied theories and technologies in the areas of Geographic Information Systems, remote sensing, microwave and cellular telecommunications, and expert systems. Co-authored a report to the U.S. Senate on urban infrastructure management and was a founding member of the Spatial Decision Support Laboratory.
