Provide design feedback and input on various projects, including start-ups and well established companies.I work closely with the proprietors to develop and test new products in agriculture, fabricate tools and design control systems for gain handling.Reverse engineered industrial temperature sensing cables and constructed my own version for use in grain bins, utilizing the Arduino platform for prototyping. Currently exploring new methods of tracking information and communication using LoRa WAN and ESP32 hardware.

I provide a wide variety of services in the instrumentation field in the Oil and Gas industry. Primary focus of work has been in the oil sands performing construction and Quality Assurance. I've been part of shut downs where I was verifying transmitter and valve calibrations from the DCS, and creating Calibration Reports as well as updating client databases with transmitter/valve configurations and information.I've performed ABSA compliant pressure testing on tubing systems, and was able to provide the client with proper documentation pertaining to the test.Working closely with the electrical crews on site, I've assisted with commissioning Central Processing Facility projects and Thermal Pad projects, as well as provide the client with all applicable documentation pertaining to transmitter/valve configuration and information.I was sent out to perform calibration verifications, firmware updates, and orifice/v-cone inspections on many Gas Production Meters around Lloydminster (FloBoss 103s and 4102s), as well as update the client's online database with transmitter information.Working with the consultants, I ensure material being purchased and used on projects meet client specifications and requirements according to engineering standards laid out by the Construction Work Packages provided, as well as ensuring all manufacturer documentation is available and provided to the client.Being able to interpret P&IDs, electrical drawings, Wire Termination Reports, Data Sheets, and Instrument Indexes are skills I'm able to call upon to complete jobs and tasks laid out before me. Submitting Redlines of each of those documents ensures I'm able to communicate changes to the designed layout that accurately reflects the system being constructed.

Primarily working on SAGD facilities, both plant side and pad side, covering everything from ordering materials, installation, calibration, QA/QC, and commissioning devices. I work closely with the electrical crew to provide assistance with wire terminations and troubleshooting issues which may arise.Some of the technologies I work with on a day-to-day basis include traditional HART loops, Profibus devices and networks, ABB PLC cards, Endress+Hauser instruments, and Pactware communication software.I also install tubing systems as per project requirements.

Working on the rig sites for Oil and Gas in Northern Alberta.Construction and Maintenance are my primary focus at this time.

The mine cannot run without my department.Troubleshooting every piece of equipment, connecting and installing cameras, taking care of pH probes, flow/level/conductivity/ORP instruments, sample stations, pneumatics, DCS/PLC, Fibre optic for fire alarms, leaky feeder for underground communications, LAN/WAN/Cable/telephone maintenance, switches and general Instrumentation practices.

I work very closely with the General Managers to make sure my department keeps inside the budget allowed. I oversee all orders, keep track of inventory, and maintain a high standard for the quality of product available to customers.
