My career in the investment industry began in 1981 and I spent over twenty years as a financial consultant with major Wall Street brokerage firms before joining long-time business friends Joe Turner and Martin Pring at Pring Turner Capital Group in 2002. My son Jim Kopas, CFA, joined our firm in 2009.Throughout my career I have taught numerous investment and retirement planning courses covering portfolio risk management and investing around the business cycle. I enjoy each opportunity to share Pring Turner's current market views with both professional and individual investor groups. As a principal and portfolio manager at Pring Turner Capital Group my duties include include oversight of client portfolios, assistance in overall investment strategy, tactical asset allocation decision-making and personalized client service.
