I am educated as an architect at the Academie van Bouwkunst in Amsterdam, NL, and The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation in Copenhagen, DK. Having studied and worked in both countries has rounded me professionally as an architect combing architectural traditions of Dutch pragmatism and Danish design. I am one of Cobe's five Project Director | Associate’s and also part of Cobe’s professional management and leadership. As part of Cobe I have taken part in and headed a large number of Cobe's amazing and prestigious projects including Ragnarock Museum and Roskilde Festival Folk High School in Roskilde, DK, Nørreport Station in Copenhagen, the Library in Copenhagen's North-west district, Tingbjerg Library and Culture House and the Opera Park in Copenhagen harbor. These projects have given me a thorough knowledge of the challenges you meet when working with complex building structures and programs and a successful and effective track record of project delivery. I am moreover capable of working through all phases of a project from concept design to detailed design and execution. At the same time gaining experience both locally in Denmark and abroad in an international design environment. Currently heading three major developments in Toronto, Canada: Scrivener Court, West Don Lands Block 8 and West Don Lands Block 3-4-7. Balancing design competitions with detailed design working alongside talented design teams.
